Discuss the latest clinical trials available for treating valve disease with panelist from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. The panel will discuss the EVEREST II trial; a prospective, randomized, multi-center phase II IDE clinical study to evaluate its percutaneous mitral valve repair system in the treatment of patients with moderate to severe or severe mitral regurgitation.
The panel will also discuss the initial feasibility study called REVIVAL, (Percutaneous Endovascular Implantation of Valves Trial) which involves the minimally invasive implantation of a heart valve in patients who are at high risk for open-heart surgery.
The live panel discussion will include renowned investigators from both trials. The webcast will be presented Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 8 PM EDT from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center.
