Quality Care, Quality Outcomes: NewYork-Presbyterian Congenital Heart Center

The most important measure of a center's experience and expertise in pediatric cardiovascular surgery is the quality of its outcomes.  On February 9 at 12:00pm EST watch an on-demand webcast to get a firsthand view of the NewYork-Presbyterian's Congenital Heart Center from their dedicated team of top doctors, nurses and staff.

This webcast is designed to educate professionals and families about the high level of care available.  Each year, pediatric cardiac surgeons at the Congenital Heart Center perform more than 700 cardiac operations, including some 25 heart transplants, and 175 newborn heart repairs.  Even with a high volume of complex cases, the Congenital Heart Center maintains one of the lowest mortality rates nationwide.

The Congenital Heart Center is a combined program of NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children's Health/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
